For the second consecutive year, the New York Jets will be one of the most talked about and watched teams in the National Football League.
They’re tied for the most primetime games this season, which is far from a surprise, all things considered.
Aaron Rodgers is back to full strength, and with the Jets revamping their offensive line and adding even more weapons, the expectations are as high as they’ve ever been in Gotham.
With that in mind, HC Robert Saleh admitted that it was actually nice to be seen like that kind of contending team in this league.
Nonetheless, he’s not going to get too carried away with that, adding that they need to focus on the process of getting better and actually taking care of business (via Jets Videos).
“It’s awesome that we’re looked at in that light”

The Jets and their fans went through a lot of heartbreak last season, losing Rodgers just four plays into the season.
They have a championship-caliber defense and one of the greatest quarterbacks this game has ever seen leading the way for them.
Notably, that also means there’s no more room or margin for error at this point.
The Jets haven’t been a contender in ages, and the team has doubled and tripled-down on this project, so plenty of people could lose their jobs if they fall short of their goal this season.
As great a player as Rodgers is, he’s not getting any younger, and the championship window might not be open for long, so winning is all that matters now.
