The Denver Broncos managed to overcome a poor start to the 2023 NFL season and force their way into the AFC playoff picture.
Denver is currently right at .500 with a 7-7 record and is very well a threat to take one of the Wild Card spots.
Despite a loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 15, the Broncos have a very favorable schedule to close out the 2023 NFL season.
In Week 16, the New England Patriots visit Denver and that should be a win for the latter considering how bad the former has looked for most of the season.
While Russell Wilson hasn’t been quite his peak self, he’s been much better in his second season as the Broncos quarterback.
Wilson’s heard plenty of doubters throughout the year, so he emphasized how he and the team are still getting better via Zac Stevens of DNVR Broncos.
“When we were 1-5, everybody said we were out of it,” Russell said. “We’re sitting here at 7-7 & some people think we’re out of it. I don’t believe so. We’ve got some good football to play. We’re excited about it. We haven’t played our best game yet,” Stevens tweeted.
Russell Wilson has never stopped believing:

Wilson and his Broncos teammates could very well have another gear they can hit down the stretch, and they have every reason to believe they can win out.
After playing New England, Denver hosts the Los Angeles Chargers and closes the regular season on the road against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Wilson and company could be able to go 3-0, and that could be enough for them to sneak into the postseason.
