The 2023 NFL season has been forgettable, to say the least, for the storied franchise of the Pittsburgh Steelers, with the team potentially heading for a disappointing end to the regular season if the team can’t clinch a playoff spot in the final three weeks.
Even though the Steelers have played well for the majority of the season on the defensive side of the football, the offense has been a mess throughout the entirety of the regular season, which has led to some changes, namely offensive coordinator Matt Canada getting fired.
Heading into Week 16, the Steelers are sporting a record of 7-7 with their playoff hopes still alive, but it wouldn’t be all that surprising to see things fall apart in the final three games, especially considering their tough schedule against the Cincinnati Bengals, Seattle Seahawks, and Baltimore Ravens.
Former Steelers player Ryan Clark believes that one of the team’s main problems on the offensive side of the football is in the wide receiver room, with too many problematic personalities at the position, via Steelers Depot.

Although there are a lot of incredibly talented wide receivers listed by Clark, all of them have come with their fair share of issues, which have caused problems both on and off the field.
Obviously, there’s a persistent issue here if the team keeps bringing in talented wideouts that don’t pan out because they’re difficult to deal with and cause problems on a regular basis.
It’ll be interesting to see if there is a culture shift after this season and if the changes made help turn this team back around.
