The Dallas Cowboys always seem to be in the news.
Whether it’s because they might contend for a Super Bowl or maybe it’s just because of the brand, they always find themselves in the center of the storm.
On ESPN’s Get Up Wednesday morning, analyst Ryan Clark talked about how Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott isn’t being set up for success by the Cowboys organization.
“They aren’t setting him up for success. If Dak Prescott’s goal is to win a championship…he’s not put in a place to do that…You’re going to have to pay your quarterback or let him walk.”

The problem for the Cowboys is that they seem to be stuck.
They are a good team with a good quarterback and a good head coach.
They have a good No. 1 receiver and some good defensive players.
But in the end, it doesn’t seem like they are great enough together to climb the mountaintop.
Even if they were to help out Prescott by getting him more weapons or filling other needs, would it really matter?
Are they a better NFC team than the San Francisco 49ers?
Are they a better NFC team than the Green Bay Packers, who just beat them down in the wildcard round in January?
Also, even though they got bailed out against the Lions late last season, are they truly better than Detroit?
Dak Prescott is a good, multi-time Pro Bowl quarterback.
Sure, Dallas could do better in terms of helping him out.
But in the end, he has just one playoff win.
It will be interesting to see if Dallas adds a quarterback for the future in this upcoming draft with Prescott slated to enter free agency next year.
