Now that the 2023 NFL Season has concluded, fans and analysts have turned their attention to the 2024 campaign.
While there are several months until the season starts, there are several exciting offseason events coming up to keep fans engaged.
The Combine is starting on February 29th, an event that gives prospective players a chance to show teams their skills.
This year’s combine could be a great resume booster for quarterbacks, as some of the top prospects will not be throwing at the event.
Bo Nix and Drake Maye are two prospects who are slated to throw at the Combine.
If they put together good performances, it can only help their standing with prospective teams, hoping to sneak into the first round.
Ryan Leaf recently appeared on “Good Morning Football” to discuss the Combine, indicating Nix has more to gain this week.

His co-hosts spent a lot of time talking about Maye, but Leaf ultimately believes that Nix has more to gain.
Nix was a well-regarded quarterback at Oregon, and at times throughout the season, he looked to have the Heisman in the bag.
However, Jayden Daniels ended up taking home the award, an accolade that helped his draft stock get higher.
At the moment, Daniels is slated to be drafted higher than Nix according to most mock drafts, but that standing could turn quickly.
If Nix puts together a great Combine performance, he might just find himself as a first-round quarterback, potentially getting an opportunity to start for a team in Year One.
