The Los Angeles Chargers should be considered one of the biggest winners of the NFL offseason.
The Spanos family made a great hire when they signed Jim Harbaugh to be their next head coach.
He was one of the most sought-after coaches around the league for most of his tenure with the Michigan Wolverines, and it was about time he made it back to the pros.
With that in mind, former NFL QB-turned-analyst Ryan Leaf went on record on Good Morning Football to give him his flowers.
“He may be the most competitive person I’ve ever met…,” Leaf said.

While he admitted that he was a little eccentric, Leaf also claimed that Harbaugh is perhaps the most competitive person he’s ever met, which is a lot to say for a guy who spent years in the National Football League.
He talked about how Harbaugh made it to the -then- San Diego Chargers to bring some stability to an unstable quarterback room and how he went the extra mile to try to get him prepared to be an NFL quarterback.
As a coach, Harbaugh has made an immediate impact everywhere he’s been.
He’s established and developed a winning culture, and he’s a guy who knows how to win games.
The Chargers have been knocking on the door of contention for quite a while now, and they have more than enough talent to be one of the powerhouses in the league, including an elite young quarterback.
This is the dawn of a new era in Los Angeles, and it shouldn’t be long before this team makes plenty of noise.
