San Francisco 49ers star Brandon Aiyuk is disgruntled with the team right now.
His social media activity and the things that have transpired from his entourage lately make it sound like he’s ready to take his talents somewhere else in the offseason.
Nonetheless, NFL analyst Emmanuel Acho believes he’s a bit out of line.
Talking on FOX Sports, he stated that as good as he is, you didn’t see him complaining about his lack of targets throughout the playoffs because the team won, so why should it be a problem only after a loss?
He argued that Kyle Shanahan fed his best offensive player, which was Christian McCaffrey.
With that in mind, New York Jets star CB Sauce Gardner took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Aiyuk, calling him one of the best receivers in the game.
Gardner pointed out the fact that Aiyuk is often wide open, yet he doesn’t get the ball.
He also says that he’s a very good receiver in contested situations, so he always has a chance to make a play even when he’s not wide open.
“Aiyuk is one WR I see who gets open the majority of the game but don’t get thrown the ball. And he can win in contested situations so even if he’s not wide open, he should get the opportunity to make a play on the ball instead of throwing it away,” Gardner said.

The Niners are still in control of this situation, though.
They picked up his fifth-year option and can either trade him or try to sort things out with him.
He’s a very productive player and could be a No. 1 option somewhere else.
However, for as long as McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel are also on the team, he’s just not going to get ahead of them in the pecking order.
