The New York Jets found a true star when they got Sauce Gardner.
The talented defensive back took the league by storm in his first campaign, running away with Defensive Rookie of the Year honors and having one of the most impressive rookie seasons in NFL history for a cornerback.
He’s already established himself as one of the undisputed best defensive backs in the game.
That’s why Jets fans must be thrilled to know that, despite the franchise’s never-ending struggles, Gardner wants to be a Jet for life.
I wanna be a New York Jet for the rest of my career.

The former Cincinnati star has taken the league by storm.
The Jets have a championship-caliber defense, and he’s a dominant, lockdown defender downhill, especially near the endzone.
However, this might be a make-or-break season for this organization, and things could look very different in the future if they don’t reach their goal this time around.
GM Joe Douglas doubled down on Aaron Rodgers and their current project in the offseason, knowing that this might be his final chance to get the job done in New York.
The same goes for HC Robert Saleh, who won’t have the benefit of the doubt anymore if Rodgers stays healthy and this team doesn’t go the distance.
Fortunately for them, they can always count on the former No. 4 pick shadowing the opposition’s best receiver with plenty of success, and it wouldn’t be shocking to see him cracking the shortlist for Defensive Player of the Year in 2024.
