Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs has been known to wear his emotions on his sleeve throughout his career in the NFL.
If Diggs isn’t happy with someone or something, he’s never really been afraid to let it be known.
Most recently, Diggs was seen on the sideline slamming a tablet onto the ground in frustration during Buffalo’s Week 5 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Some don’t have a problem with the wide receiver showing his emotions, but others, like ESPN’s Shannon Sharpe, aren’t a fan of the way Diggs conducts himself on the sidelines at times.
“I don’t like that type of behavior because you’re showing up your quarterback… that is unacceptable behavior,” he said, via “First Take.”

With these comments, Sharpe comes off a bit like an out-of-touch parent.
As a former NFL player who is now in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, he, of all people, should know that emotions run high during a 60-minute football game.
During his career, Sharpe was known as someone who was never afraid to speak his mind or talk trash to an opponent while he was on the field.
So it’s a bit strange that this reaction is coming from Sharpe, but maybe after all of these years, he was able to look back and realize that some of the things he did during his playing career weren’t very helpful to the other guys in his locker room.
If anyone has paid attention to Diggs during his career with the Bills and Minnesota Vikings, he’s going to go about things his way, and he’s not really going to care about the opinions from the outside world.
We should expect this to remain true after Sharpe’s comments.
