The Baltimore Ravens are 7-3 and have looked spectacular at times.
We’ve raved about Todd Monken’s new-look offense and how dominant their defense can look.
Then again, all three of their losses have come after blowing leads late in games, and two of those losses have come against divisional rivals — the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns.
With that in mind, NFL legend Shannon Sharpe showed his concerns about this team, stating that he just doesn’t trust Lamar Jackson.
In his latest appearance on ESPN’s “First Take,” Sharpe stated that teams shouldn’t accept anything in a win that they wouldn’t accept in a loss, which is why the narrative of the Ravens winning even when Lamar doesn’t play well is futile.
“Lamar Jackson has been up and down and it’s been masked because they’re winning. … It’s hard for me to trust Lamar. It’s hard for me to trust this team.”

He pointed out the fact that Jackson has as many touchdown passes as Mac Jones (10) this season, adding that he’s turned the ball over as many times (five interceptions and five lost fumbles).
Sharpe believes that this team has been vastly overrated and was worried about that tendency to relax and just let their rivals get back into the game.
He put them on blast for losing a game in which they had a 97.1% implied winning percentage after entering the fourth quarter with a double-digit lead.
At the end of the day, no team is as good as they look in their best game nor as bad as they look in their worst, but this trend of blowing leads should sound off the alarms within John Harbaugh’s coaching staff before it’s too late.
