San Francisco 49ers legend Jerry Rice recently named the players that he’d consider to be the top five ever to play the wide receiver position in the NFL, which were all players that are not currently playing in the league today, meaning Tyreek Hill didn’t make the list.
With Rice chiming in on who are the five best wideouts of all time, which naturally included himself and former 49ers star Terrell Owens, Shaq Barrett of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers has given his two cents on who he believes are the top-five edge rushers in the game today.
According to Dov Kleiman, Von Miller, Danielle Hunter, T.J. Watt, Maxx Crosby and Micah Parsons, all made the list of the best of the best in the NFL at rushing the passer.

This is a pretty solid list by Barrett, as he’s right on the money with the five players that he has chosen, with the only interchangeable players being Hunter and Miller, who are arguably on the downside of their careers.
As for Parsons, Crosby, and Watt, all three of these superstar players seem to get better and better with every passing season and will likely be the cream of the crop among pass rushers for at least another half-decade or so.
Other players that could or should be in the conversation include Myles Garrett of the Cleveland Browns and 49ers star Nick Bosa.
Needless to say, the league has some talented pass rushers right now and will continue to have some players on the rise for the foreseeable future.
