The Dallas Cowboys have a shortage of bodies in their running back room right now.
They let Tony Pollard walk away, and they only have Rico Dowdle, Deuce Vaughn, Royce Freeman, and Malik Davis under contract.
There have been some rumors about them bringing back Ezekiel Elliott, but it’s more than evident that they still need someone to carry the load for them.
With that in mind, NFL analyst — and diehard Cowboys fan — Skip Bayless urged them to take Michigan star Blake Corum in the second round of the NFL Draft.
Talking on “Undisputed,” he compared Corum to Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith, stating that they’re both built the same way and that they both have great balance and are tough to knock on the ground.

Bayless claimed that Corum literally carried Michigan to a National Championship.
This class isn’t particularly rich at the running back position, but Corum definitely looks like one of the best, and he could be up for grabs when the Cowboys are on the clock in the second round with the No. 56 selection.
Corum is coming off setting a school record for most rushing touchdowns in a single season (27).
He also left Ann Arbor as the program’s all-time leader for career rushing touchdowns (58), anchoring a stout, run-heavy offense.
Also, the fact that he spent years under an NFL-like system with coach Jim Harbaugh could work in his favor as he makes the transition to the pros.
Now, whether the Cowboys are going to do what needs to be done, that’s a whole different story.
