The NFL offseason is upon us and every team is looking toward the start of the new league year and free agency.
Many impact players are set to hit the open market in March.
One spot that a lot of teams will be keeping their eye on is quarterback.
There are a few good quarterbacks in need of a contract.
One of the best free agents available is Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.
He is coming off a season cut short by an Achilles injury, but Cousins should be ready to go at the start of next season.
All that remains up in the air is what team he will play for.
Skip Bayless thinks Cousins is not worth the money he is about to get paid.
Bayless called Cousins: “The most overpaid single player in the history of the NFL.”

While Cousins has had almost no playoff success in his career, he has been a good player.
Bayless even mentioned that quarterbacks are “understocked.”
With that being the case, Cousins is easily one of the best 20 quarterbacks in the NFL.
He should be starting somewhere in 2024.
Even though he may not be a different-maker, if put into a great situation he can lead a team to the playoffs.
While he likely will be overpaid in free agency, it is probably worth it for a team needing a starter.
