The Dallas Cowboys may not move forward with Mike McCarthy.
It’s hard to justify him staying there after what happened vs. the Green Bay Packers, and that’s just the way NFL teams operate.
So, for now, everybody’s making the assumption that McCarthy won’t continue there, which is why people are talking about potential replacements already.
With that in mind, NFL analyst and Cowboys fan Skip Bayless said on Undisputed that he thinks Jim Harbaugh could be a nice replacement.
“I’m a big Harbaugh fan, always have been,” Bayless said.

Bayless did seem concerned about a potential power struggle between Harbaugh and Jerry Jones, as the Cowboys owner has always had a ‘hands-on’ approach with the team, most of the time to a fault.
Under Jones, the Cowboys have become one of the most successful sports brands on Earth, but not much of a great team on the football field, and it’s hard to envision changing his ways at this point in his life.
Bayless also talked about Bill Belichick potentially being a candidate, but he’s not so sure about whether he’s the guy they need to turn the ship around.
He reminded everyone that Belichick was the one who told Robert Kraft that Tom Brady wasn’t good anymore just before he went on to win another Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which was a breaking point in his relationship with the New England Patriots owner.
Also, Belichick has a losing record in his coaching career without Brady, and he was also blown out in his last playoff game, so he might not be what they need right now.
