The Miami Dolphins wasted every single opportunity to secure the No. 2 seed in the AFC and get a couple of postseason games at home.
That could prove to be a disaster, as not only will they have to hit the road to keep their season alive, but they’ll also have to go through Arrowhead Stadium in the Wild Card round.
That’s why NFL analyst Skip Bayless doesn’t love their chances right now.
Talking on Undisputed, the renowned pundit explained that the Dolphins going from South Florida to Kansas City’s below-zero temperatures is a recipe for disaster.
“Dolphins in -5 degree temperature is a recipe for disaster,” said Bayless. “Every time they play a good team they get exposed.”

On top of that, Bayless reminded everybody that the Dolphins have failed to beat winning teams more often than not, and while the Chiefs haven’t been as good as they usually are this season, they’re still the reigning Super Bowl champions, are more experienced, have the best player in the league, and are at home.
Chiefs and Dolphins already clashed this season in a rather-unimpressive showcase in Germany, with Patrick Mahomes and company getting the win.
Besides, the Chiefs did a better job than any other team in the league of keeping Tyreek Hill in check, and that’s obviously terrible news for Mike McDaniel’s offense.
The Dolphins proved that they could have the most explosive offense in the game when they’re at their best.
Now, they just need to prove that they can also get the job done when it matters the most and against one of the strongest teams in the entire league.
