The Buffalo Bills felt like they needed a big change.
That’s why they agreed to absorb a $31 million cap hit just to move on from Stefon Diggs.
On top of that, they only got a future second-round pick in return for the four-time Pro Bowler.
That’s why Skip Bayless believes this team has officially reached a “point of no return.”
Talking on “Undisputed,” Bayless gave GM Brandon Beane plenty of credit for putting this roster together, but he questioned the return they got for Diggs, who’s objectively one of the best wide receivers in the game.

On the other hand, he believes this could also be the catalyst they finally need to get over the hump, and that time could prove they were right for moving on from him.
Ironically, the Bills were at their best when Diggs was a non-factor in their offense.
That doesn’t mean he’s done or cannot be a major factor for C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans.
At the end of the day, this game is all about taking risks.
If the Bills felt like Diggs couldn’t coexist with their roster anymore, sometimes moving on from disgruntled players ends up adding by subtraction.
Of course, Josh Allen is now in a tough spot, and he’ll be asked to do a lot with a little, which rarely ends well for any quarterback.
Still, even if it seems like they could’ve and should’ve gotten more for their WR, only time will tell.
