The New England Patriots are 1-3 to begin the 2023 season.
After missing the playoffs last year, the Patriots entered 2023 with newfound expectations.
They believed this year could be different, and that the team had worked out the bulk of its issues during the offseason.
However, that does not appear to be the case, especially after their recent blowout loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
After this game concluded, Skip Bayless was quick to give his thoughts, showcasing his issue with this team.
In a tweet, Bayless called Bill Belichick “overrated,” wondering how much time he has left with the organization.
How much longer is Robert Kraft going to put up with this from the most overrated coach ever … considering Brady MADE HIM yet so many consider Belichick the greatest coach ever.

As Bayless indicates, many around the league believe Belichick is the best coach in NFL history.
However, Bayless seems to believe that Tom Brady is a major reason for this success and that Belichick is nothing without Brady.
The Mac Jones era hasn’t yielded the results that fans expected.
He now holds a sub-.500 winning percentage, a mark that is far below Belichick and the organization’s expectations.
While Jones’ on-field play could be a factor, Bayless continues to downplay Belichick’s coaching abilities.
This is a situation to monitor in New England, especially if the Patriots keep losing games.
Bailey Zappe was brought in to relieve Jones during this blowout loss, a move that surprised many fans.
Having a solid quarterback in the NFL is paramount, and it appears that Belichick could be getting fed up with Jones.
He could also be trying to save face, doing anything he can, especially if he feels he is on the hot seat.
