The Dallas Cowboys are going through one of the best seasons in recent memory.
It’s not just that they’re winning football games; it’s that they’re dominating and crushing their rivals.
Ironically, Dak Prescott has been at the forefront of this impressive campaign just months after being deemed the Achilles heel and the only thing that could’ve held this team back.
So, now that there’s been plenty of talk about his impending contract extension, Skip Bayless believes there’s only one way the Cowboys should do it right now, and that’s if he wins the Super Bowl.
Bayless stated that he holds Prescott to the same standard as Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman because he believes he’s more than capable of playing up to that same level.
Should the Cowboys sign Dak Prescott to another extension?

Truth be told, that seems a bit harsh from Bayless, even if it comes from a good place.
Prescott has proven that he can play up to the highest level in terms of QB competition, as he’s been by far the best quarterback in the league over the past two months.
Then again, judging his season by winning a Super Bowl or not seems like a bit of a reach.
Perhaps it would be more realistic to judge him by his playoff success and whether he can win a playoff game or get past the San Francisco 49ers this time.
Whatever the case, it’s hard to think of a better option for the Dallas Cowboys at the QB position, at least for the foreseeable future.
