The Houston Texans couldn’t escape Sunday afternoon with a win.
However, even in the losses, DeMeco Ryans’ team has been impressive.
C.J. Stroud has been spectacular, and it goes way beyond the numbers, as the intangibles and the way he’s taking the reins of the offense are just remarkable.
That’s why Skip Bayless believes the Texans could be a legitimate problem to whoever faces them in a potential postseason berth.
In the latest edition of “Undisputed,” Bayless stated that he had never seen a rookie quarterback play with so much poise as Stroud.
.@RealSkipBayless was impressed with C.J. Stroud & Texans despite loss vs. Jaguars:
“That young QB is playing like a 10-year vet. I wouldn’t want to mess with them in the playoffs.” pic.twitter.com/tn62UHfy13

He praised him for the way he’s starting to make plays with his legs, which is something he didn’t do often at Ohio State.
Bayless was impressed by his acceleration and how he could glide down the field in the blink of an eye, as well as by his quick flick of the wrist to throw darts with ease.
Skip pointed out that everything Stroud is doing on the field looks effortless, adding that he’s playing like a ten-year veteran already.
The Jacksonville Jaguars desperately needed the win, and they made the most of their experience to come out with a huge triumph to keep their hopes of winning the divisional title alive.
But the sole fact that the Texans made it to Week 12 with their postseason and divisional title hopes alive speaks volumes about the outstanding job done by Ryans and about how great Stroud could become once he reaches his prime.
The league is in trouble.
