The Baltimore Ravens were able to bounce back from their recent loss to the Cleveland Browns by beating the Cincinnati Bengals 34-20 on Thursday Night Football.
The Ravens have been one of the best all-around teams in the league during the 2023 NFL season and that was on display against the Bengals as they controlled the game on both sides of the field.
Baltimore lucked out when Joe Burrow hurt his wrist in the second quarter and was ruled out for the remainder of the game, but Lamar Jackson and company still had to work for their points.
However, the offense took a major hit early in the first quarter as Mark Andrews hurt his ankle and was almost immediately declared out.
Andrews has been Jackson’s primary receiving option this year per usual, so the team is understandably concerned about his health.
Skip Bayless pointed out the obvious if Andrews is forced to miss significant time via his Twitter account.
“If Mark Andrews is gone, man, will Lamar ever miss him in future games …,” Bayless said.

It’s a simple statement for Bayless to make, but he’s indeed correct as Andrews has the most built-in chemistry and trust with Jackson.
After a slow start to the regular season, Andrews was coming on as of late as he looked fully healthy and as his usual self.
However, the tight end will have to wait and see how serious the ankle injury is and if he’ll be forced to miss the remainder of the season.
The timing couldn’t have been worse for Baltimore who was establishing themselves as the best team in the AFC, so it’ll be interesting to see how they navigate the loss of Andrews.
