The Green Bay Packers were quite high on Jordan Love entering the season.
Brian Gutekunst and Matt LaFleur raved about his development and offseason improvement, and some even stated that he was ready to push for a trade if Aaron Rodgers didn’t leave.
Love did look very impressive in his first action as a starter this season, and some thought the Packers had struck gold at the QB position again.
Nonetheless, he hasn’t looked sharp in his past two games, leading to two back-to-back losses for the NFC North powerhouse.
As pointed out by Yahoo Sports, he’s thrown for a combined 426 yards with one touchdown and five interceptions in his past two games.

Granted that two of his picks vs. the Las Vegas Raiders were tipped and not entirely his fault, but that’s not a formula for winning football.
The Packers are struggling with key injuries on both sides of the field, especially on offense, but they’ve still managed to keep things close despite the losses.
Of course, there will be plenty of growing pains for every young quarterback, and while the sample size is limited, there have been some interesting things about Love.
Taking better care of the football will most definitely be a point of emphasis going forward, but it might be early to sound off the alarms at Lambeau Field.
Greatness takes time, and the Packers are still looking forward to rolling with their former first-round pick, who’ll have a chance to bounce back on Sunday vs. the 1-4 Denver Broncos.
