Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been an NFL league MVP because of his versatility and explosiveness.
The Ravens always have a chance to win when he’s on the field.
Opposing defenses must account for every move, especially when he takes off to run.
That threat in his arsenal has made him the only quarterback in league history to have multiple 1,000-yard rushing seasons.
While he is dangerous in running the ball, opponents prefer Jackson to be passing more often.
After all, he’s never been known as an accurate thrower.
However, the former Louisville standout has become a potent dual threat by improving his completion percentage.
Ravens Wire writer and Locked On Ravens podcaster Kevin Oestreicher tweeted, “Through one month of the 2023 season, Lamar Jackson ranks second in completion percentage in the NFL.”

Through four games, Jackson has completed 74.3 percent of his passes.
That number translates to 78 completions out of 105 attempts.
Those completions have turned into 794 passing yards and four touchdowns.
Josh Allen ranks first but not too far away at 74.8, while Brock Purdy is third with a 72.3 rate.
Dak Prescott and Tua Tagovailoa are tied in the fourth spot at 71.3 percent.
Before this season, Jackson’s highest completion rate was 66.1, happening during his MVP season (2019).
Meanwhile, he completed 62.3% of his throws last year.
Showing improved accuracy with throws makes him a scary adversary, especially inside the red zone.
More importantly, his vastly improved throwing prowess has Baltimore enjoying a 3-1 record.
