Coming into the 2023 NFL season, the Cincinnati Bengals were expected to be a legitimate Super Bowl title contender in the AFC, but there were a lot of questions about superstar quarterback Joe Burrow and his calf injury.
Unfortunately, after consecutive losses to divisional opponents Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens, Burrow’s calf strain seemed to really be bothering him and holding him back from being the dominant force he’s been throughout his NFL career thus far.
Burrow couldn’t seem to get things going like he’s used to, which made the Bengals’ offense extremely limited, to say the least, resulting in a 1-3 start to the season.
However, Burrow has been able to turn it on as of late, with the Pro Bowler returning to form over the last two weeks and leading his team to two straight wins, which gets the Bengals back to .500 with some impressive numbers from their superstar under center via Dov Kleiman of Bro Bible.

The real question moving forward is whether Burrow can keep up this level of play and continue leading the Bengals to wins on a weekly basis.
Unfortunately for Cincinnati, Burrow and company are sitting at the bottom of the AFC North division standings, with each of the other three teams having a record of 3-2 or better.
With the AFC North being as competitive as any division in the league right now, it’ll be interesting to see if the Bengals can turn things around with their schedule being brutal moving forward, starting with the San Francisco 49ers on the road on Oct. 29.
