The Pittsburgh Steelers have gone through many changes over the past several weeks.
Between adding two new quarterbacks, trading away Justin Fields, and going through the normal chaos of the offseason, the Steelers’ roster will look very different heading into the new year.
While they will remain strong with Mike Tomlin as their head coach, he appears to be adding a new member to his staff.
Brooke Pryor recently reported that the Steelers have hired Anthony Midget back as their assistant secondary coach.
Steelers have added Anthony Midget as their assistant secondary coach. He previously coached the secondary in Tennessee 2020-22; Houston 2014-19

As Pryor mentions, Midget has some NFL history from the past several seasons, as he has worked with the Tennesee Titans and the Houston Texans over the past ten years.
With any luck, he can bring his knowledge and experience to this team, hoping to get them back to being a perennial playoff contender.
The Steelers haven’t been their usual, dominant selves since Ben Roethlisberger left the team, even though they haven’t fallen below .500 in the Tomlin era.
One of the most dominant aspects of this Steelers team over the years has been their defense, which Midget can likely assist them with.
The AFC North has only gotten more difficult over the past several seasons, so the Steelers will need to put their best foot forward in order to best compete.
Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals should be back in full force, and the Baltimore Ravens proved that they can be among the best teams in the conference.
It will be interesting to see how the Steelers’ season pans out after all of their changes.
