The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to add veteran pieces to the team.
Veteran offensive players in Russell Wilson, Cordarrelle Patterson, and Van Jefferson were some additions to one side of the ball.
Defensively, Pittsburgh has brought in veterans such as Patrick Queen and Dean Lowry to bolster their front.
To bolster the backend of the defense, Pittsburgh has made another move.
According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, veteran cornerback Cam Sutton is signing back with the Steelers after a one-year stint with the Lions.

Sutton was previously drafted in the third round back in 2017 by Pittsburgh out of Tennessee.
The 29-year-old has been a role player for the majority of his seven-year career and has a chance to play in that same capacity with his old team.
While with the Steelers from 2017-2022, he started 39 games of the total 84 that he played in.
He recorded 38 pass deflections and 8 interceptions over his time defending the boundary in the Steel City.
While with the Lions last season, he started all 17 games and was a real contributor.
He set career-highs in total tackles (65) and solo tackles (50).
The year prior, which was his last year in Pittsburgh, he set a career-high in interceptions (3) and pass deflections (15).
Another veteran addition couldn’t hurt this team.
They have stars at every level of the defense led by Defensive Player of the Year T.J. Watt, six-time Pro Bowl interior defender Cam Heyward, All-Pro linebacker Patrick Queen, and All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
Look for Sutton to provide some steadiness and depth for Mike Tomlin and Co.
