The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without their best player when they visit the Buffalo Bills for their Wild Card matchup.
T.J. Watt will miss the next couple of weeks with a grade 2 MCL sprain, so even if they beat the Bills, he might not be ready for the AFC Divisional round.
Nonetheless, Mike Tomlin did have some positive news today ahead of that must-win matchup.
According to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor, star defender Minkah Fitzpatrick will be available to play vs. Josh Allen and company.
Fitzpatrick has been away from the field for the past three games after suffering a knee injury during their big loss to the Indianapolis Colts.
Minkah Fitzpatrick says he’s playing against Buffalo this weekend.
He thought he could’ve played vs. Baltimore but trainers wanted him to be 110%

However, he claimed that he felt healthy enough to suit up in the regular-season finale vs. the Baltimore Ravens, but the team decided to play it safely and wait until he was “110%” ready to come back.
The Steelers listed the former Miami Dolphins standout as a full participant on their injury report, so he’s clearly on track to get out there.
As solid as he’s been for the Black and Gold, Fitzpatrick has also missed plenty of time this season.
He missed seven total games due to several ailments, finishing the campaign with 64 total tackles and three passes defensed.
The Steelers are 9.5-point underdogs ahead of their Sunday matchup in Buffalo, making them the largest underdog of the Wild Card round.
