The Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills conducted what is viewed as one of the most even trades in the NFL over the past decade.
After some internal frustrations with Stefon Diggs, the team decided to move on from him, electing to trade Diggs to the Bills.
The Bills sent them a first-round draft pick in this trade, which allowed them to select Justin Jefferson.
While Diggs was a great player at the time, the Vikings were able to move forward with a younger player, one that is now seen as a top receiver in the league.
Despite this trade happening a few years ago, it appears that Diggs still thinks about this deal.
He recently spoke about this trade in a conversation with Albert Breer, which was shared by Dov Kleiman on Twitter.
“And up to a point I was like shoot, I’m gonna bet on myself. And they sent me to Buffalo. I don’t know if they sent me to Buffalo with the kindest intent, but all’s well that ends well,” Diggs said.

Diggs is under the impression that the Vikings sent him to the Bills for a bad reason, even though he had great success there with Josh Allen.
Now, Diggs is on his third career team, as he will start a new journey with the Houston Texans in 2024.
There were disagreements between Diggs and the Bills’ staff as well, which is why he is on yet another new team.
it will be interesting to see how things go for him in Houston, and if he will be able to find what he’s looking for.
