The Dallas Cowboys continue to make the rounds for all the wrong reasons.
Despite Jerry Jones’ promise of going all-in to fix the team and finally put an end to their Super Bowl drought, they’ve just seen some key players walk away, all while their divisional foes got much better.
On top of that, Dak Prescott’s brother Tad, drew some unwanted attention his way.
Prescott’s brother ripped the Cowboys organization while praising the Eagles’ front office.
That’s why Stephen A. Smith didn’t mince his words with him on Tuesday’s edition of First Take.
Considering that, the controversial pundit wanted to double down on his comments on Wednesday, although more respectfully.
“I want to apologize for that while saying this. … Grow up. … You are compromising how [Dak Prescott] is being viewed by Dallas Cowboy fans,” Smith said.

First of all, he apologized for the words he used to refer to Tad Prescott.
Then, he continued his rant by telling him to grow up, as he’s hurting the way some fans view his brother.
Smith argued that people would question whether the things Tad was saying were coming from Dak instead, and that he was not doing his brother any favors.
On top of that, Prescott could become the highest-paid quarterback in NFL history, so bashing his employer in the midst of a contract negotiation isn’t in his best interest.
Smith pointed out the fact that Tad Prescott isn’t employed by the Cowboys or even a professional football player, so perhaps he should stay out of this kind of discussion.
