The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the most talked-about teams in the league this season, as per usual.
We’re just a handful of games away from the playoffs, yet some people still don’t know what to make of this Cowboys team.
They’ve been spectacular against losing teams, and they’ve finally beaten a winning team like the Seattle Seahawks, albeit with some difficulties.
That’s why Stephen A. Smith still isn’t sold on them and doesn’t think they’re as good as people are making them out to be.
In the latest edition of First Take, the ESPN pundit mocked the Cowboys’ level of competition and the teams they’ve faced at home during their 14-game winning streak at AT&T Stadium.
“The scrubs that they beat at AT&T Stadium … that ain’t the conditions that’s going to be waiting for him come playoff time.”@stephenasmith had a lot to say about the Cowboys level of competition pic.twitter.com/EuVJ66lVRA

Smith stated that they’re not going to have that same level of competition come playoff time.
Truth be told, Smith has constantly bashed the Cowboys, and he’s never hidden his despise for them, so perhaps he’s kind of biased about this subject.
But more than that, the Cowboys shouldn’t be blamed for the teams they’ve faced.
They’ve taken care of the task at hand, which is to beat the team that’s in front of them, and they’ve done it constantly and in a big way.
Granted that they can’t seem to crack the code against the San Francisco 49ers, and they should be worried about a potential rematch in the playoffs.
But this team is still 9-3 after 13 weeks, and that’s much better than most teams in the league, so maybe it’s time we start taking them seriously.
