The Dallas Cowboys haven’t made the news this offseason, or at least not for their moves.
Jerry Jones promised he would go “all-in” this offseason, adding they wouldn’t be building for the future.
Instead, he’s let several key players leave in free agency, and he’s done little to nothing to replace them.
That’s why ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith put him on blast.
In the latest edition of “First Take,” he claimed that he was resentful of Jones and the Cowboys because they’re making it too easy for him to troll the fans.

He believes that no one really thinks the Cowboys can compete for a Super Bowl, and he would rather them take the fans’ hopes up before they plummet.
All jokes aside, Smith listed all the notable offseason losses they’ve suffered, adding that Jones didn’t sign Dak Prescott or CeeDee Lamb to a contract extension, and stating that they still need to pay Micah Parsons.
Smith also called them out for not even attempting to sign Derrick Henry, who would’ve been of great help to take plenty of pressure off Prescott’s shoulders.
The Cowboys are coming off a heartbreaking end to the season, and they were supposed to bounce back and get stronger and better.
Instead, they’re not even the best team in the division.
It’s hard to envision the Cowboys being able to win the NFC East again next season, let alone put an end to their decades-long NFC Championship Game drought.
