The Miami Dolphins have been one of the most fun offenses to watch during the 2023 NFL season and it was on full display in their Week 12 win against their AFC East rivals the New York Jets.
The Jets’ offensive woes are well-documented, but their defense remains one of the best units in the league.
However, the Dolphins knew exactly how to get around that as they schemed up ways to get both Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle open all throughout the afternoon.
Both Hill and Waddle were able to record over 100 receiving yards, though the former was also able to add a touchdown to his performance.
Hill has been the most explosive and best offensive player in the NFL this season and he’s well on his way to hitting the 2,000 receiving yards goal he set for himself before the start of the year.
What Hill is doing is almost unprecedented and former wideout Steve Smith Jr. made sure to give him his flowers via NFL GameDay.
“Personal goals line up with the team goals…and he is exceeding all expectations,” Smith said.

Hill is nearly unguardable as he possesses blazing speed and excellent route-running ability, and Smith couldn’t help but marvel at what he’s been able to do on the field.
Smith knows full well what it takes to be one of the best receivers in the game and he admitted that it’s been fun and exciting to see Hill do what he does every week.
Hill is on pace to make history and fans are going to be tuning in to see if he can hit the 2,000-yard threshold.
