The Houston Texans have been one of the NFL’s feel-good stories this season, as they have seemingly overachieved and forged a winning record just one year after going 3-13-1.
But lately, they may have lost some steam, as they have lost two of their last three games, yet with a 7-6 record, they’re still in the hunt for an AFC playoff spot.
They will visit the Tennessee Titans, who are coming off an impressive come-from-behind win over the Miami Dolphins on Monday, this Sunday, and it will be another critical game for their playoff hopes.
However, Houston has a whopping seven players who were unable to practice on Wednesday, per Will Kunkel.
The Texans list of who did NOT PRACTICE today is long and distinguished.

Rookie wide receiver Tank Dell, who has been having an excellent year, is already out for the duration of the season with a fibula injury, but now he has some company.
Nico Collins, Houston’s other big threat at WR, is nursing a calf injury, and his status for this weekend is up in the air.
Quarterback C.J. Stroud, who is expected to easily win the Rookie of the Year award, entered concussion protocol late in Week 14 versus the New York Jets.
Defensive end Will Anderson Jr., yet another standout rookie, left the game against the Jets with an ankle injury.
After Sunday, the Texans will host the Cleveland Browns, who continue to find ways to win games despite numerous key injuries, on Christmas Eve, before playing the Titans again and then the Indianapolis Colts to close out the regular season.
With a 7-6 record, the Colts suddenly have a real shot at reaching the postseason, and that Week 18 game could decide whether Houston gets to the postseason themselves.
