The Houston Texans have been one of the most surprising teams in the NFL this season.
C.J. Stroud has played much better than advertised, bringing their offense to an elite level for the first time since Deshaun Watson’s departure.
Their defense has also played better than they have in years past, allowing 21.3 points per game.
After their strong win over the Cincinnati Bengals last week, the Texans were looking forward to their Week 11 matchup with the Arizona Cardinals.
They might have to take on the Cardinals without Denzel Perryman, who was slated to be suspended for three weeks.
However, as Ian Rapoport recently highlighted, Perryman is trying to appeal the suspension in hopes of playing this week.

Perryman has been one of the Texans’ best defenders this season.
He is prone to penalties, as Rapoport points out, which could be his downfall if he doesn’t get this under control.
This was his seventh penalty for using his helmet in an inappropriate manner, which the league might not look kindly upon.
While it is unknown whether the league will appeal his suspension, Perryman’s track record might not help his standing with the league offices.
If this suspension is upheld, the Texans will need to find elite production from another player who steps up in Perryman’s place.
The good news for the Texans is that, while the Cardinals are coming off an emotional win, their defense has been suspect lately.
If Stroud has another masterclass performance, the Texans’ defense might not end up mattering.
