The Tennessee Titans are on the verge of entering a new era.
With HC Mike Vrabel no longer calling the shots, Brian Callahan will take the reins of the team and try to build a team around Will Levis.
Needless to say, this raises plenty of questions about some veteran players, starting with star running back Derrick Henry.
Considering that, their GM, Ran Carthon, admitted that he’s gotten more Derrick Henry questions in the last 12 months on the job than anything else.
Talking at the NFL Scout Combine, he admitted that there’s a sentimental element to a decision regarding the running back, so he’s going to take some time to come to terms with a decision, adding that he’s going to cross that bridge when he has to (via Paul Kuharsky).

Henry has repeatedly talked about his desire to stay with the organization that drafted him for the remainder of his career.
It seemed like that was going to be the case when the team didn’t trade him last season.
Nonetheless, it also looked like he was waving goodbye to the fans with his words late in the campaign, so one never knows.
Henry has been a dominant physical force out of the backfield for quite a while now, but we’ve seen running backs fall from grace drastically and quickly at this point in their careers.
The Titans might feel like paying him big bucks wouldn’t be in their best interests, and he’s going to be a sought-after free agent if that’s the case.
