The Tennessee Titans added to their defense depth Wednesday after the team lost two defensive players this past week.
Starting defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons suffered a knee injury against the Colts, while backup nose tackle Kyle Peko landed on injured reserve with a calf injury.
Peko is out for the season, while Simmons is considered questionable for Week 15 against the Houston Texans.
The Titans then signed defensive tackle Keondre Coburn off the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad as a potential replacement, according to Charles Goldman of AtoZ Sports.

The 6-foot-2, 322-pound Coburn isn’t a household name and has jumped between practice squads ever since the Chiefs drafted him in the sixth round out of Texas this spring.
He played nine snaps in Week 1 and tallied one tackle for a loss, but hasn’t seen game action since he’s been on the Chiefs’ and Denver Broncos’ practice squads.
If Simmons misses Week 15, though, Coburn could be in line for some serious snaps behind Jaleel Johnson or Teair Tart on the defensive line.
The Titans are basically out of playoff contention despite an incredible comeback win over the Dolphins on Monday night.
At 5-8 and fourth in the AFC South, Tennessee would likely need to win all of their remaining four games to finish 9-8 as well as hope other teams in the hunt lose most of their games.
There is a slim chance, though, so adding Coburn is perhaps a piece of the puzzle for the Titans down the stretch.
