The Big Ten conference has decided to suspend University of Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh for the rest of the season for violating its sportsmanship policy.
Reportedly, Harbaugh and the Wolverines have been stealing signs from opposing teams, and that is what led to him being disciplined.
Interestingly, while he will not be allowed to be on the sideline for his team’s final three regular-season games, he will be allowed to continue to coach it during practices, per Ian Rapoport.

Legendary quarterback Tom Brady, a former Wolverine himself, had a succinct reaction to the news.

Brady, a native of the San Francisco Bay Area, played four seasons at Ann Arbor and put up 4,773 passing yards and 30 touchdown passes against 17 interceptions in 29 career games there.
He was only a sixth-round pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, but in his second season, New England Patriots starting QB Drew Bledsoe went down with internal bleeding, paving the way for him to take over under center, and the rest was history.
Harbaugh had a stint in the NFL as a head coach for the San Francisco 49ers for four seasons, and while there, he remade a then-moribund team into a contender that reached the NFC Championship Game in each of his first three years there.
His Niners went to Super Bowl XLVII, only to lose to the Baltimore Ravens, who were coached by his brother John Harbaugh.
Back in the day, Jim Harbaugh was a quarterback himself, and in 1995 he made the Pro Bowl while getting the Indianapolis Colts very close to a Super Bowl appearance.
