After an impressive performance throughout the 2023 NFL regular season, the Dallas Cowboys will head into the NFL playoffs with a lot of confidence and high hopes of going the distance and winning the franchise’s first Super Bowl title since the 1995 season.
Even though the San Francisco 49ers are currently considered the team to beat in the NFC, the Cowboys are the biggest threat to Brock Purdy and company, and the team is fully aware of that fact as this talented squad heads into a playoff showdown with the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium on Sunday.
Last year, the season ended in disappointment with a loss to the 49ers, but this year, this team is headed into the postseason with a different kind of swagger and a seemingly much more talented football team.
Ahead of the clash with the Packers on Sunday, running back Tony Pollard talked about the difference between this year’s team compared to what Dallas had last year, and he believes this squad is “more ready for the moment,” according to Jon Machota of The Athletic.
Cowboys RB Tony Pollard on the feeling going into the playoffs this year compared to previous seasons: “It feels like we’re more ready for the moment. Ready for whatever adversity that we may face in the upcoming weeks. We’re just ready to go out there and get it.”

The Cowboys will head into this playoff matchup with the Packers as the heavy favorites, with few believing that Jordan Love and company can contend with Dallas, especially on their home field, where Dak Prescott and company are a perfect 8-0 this season.
Although the Cowboys are favored to come out on top in this game by more than a touchdown, anything can happen in the postseason, and Dallas must not overlook a Packers team that has nothing to lose coming into Wild Card Weekend.
