Stefon Diggs was surprisingly traded from the Buffalo Bills to the Houston Texans today for a 2025 second-round pick, leaving the Bills with a massive void at wide receiver and no clear path to fill it.
It’s a great move for Diggs, as he slots right in with one of the AFC’s brightest young teams and reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud, but most of all it finally puts an end to a tumultuous relationship that has devolved over the last few years to one full of perceived slights and subtle social media digs, no pun intended.
Stefon’s brother, star cornerback Trevon Diggs of the Dallas Cowboys, threw another subtle shot on Twitter after the trade was announced, posting a pair of emojis of a man running.

Clearly, Trevon is excited that his brother is out of Buffalo, a situation he has been critical of on social media in the past.
There had been rumblings for the better part of two years that Diggs’ relationship with the Bills had dissolved, for whatever reason, and Buffalo took the opportunity to end it at the first sign of Diggs declining.
Diggs didn’t post a 100-yard game after Week 6 this past season and will turn 31 during the 2024 season.
If he is declining already, it makes his contract scary as he has a cap hit between $18-20 million in each of the next four years, though there is a potential out after this upcoming season.
Hopefully, Diggs fits in Houston and he and his family can stop posting passive-aggressive emojis all the time.
