The Cincinnati Bengals, for the time being, have their three-time Pro Bowl edge-rusher back in the fold.
According to the team’s social media page and as ESPN’s Field Yates points out, Trey Hendrickson is participating in the team’s offseason workouts after requesting a trade in April.
Has he had a change of heart?

Hendrickson, after reportedly seeking a trade in April due to a desire for more long-term security, could very well want to stay in Cincinnati.
It would be huge if that was the case.
After leaving the New Orleans Saints for the Bengals back in 2021, he would go on to make three Pro Bowls.
Going back to his final season with the Saints in 2020, Hendrickson has 53.0 sacks over the last four years.
He also has over 100 quarterback hits over that same span too.
While with the Bengals, he has proven to be one of the best defensive players in the AFC.
Whether the Bengals are working on a new contract for him now or perhaps they have already presented him with one, the fans of Cincinnati should be happy to see him at practice.
When most players demand a trade, they tend to refuse to ever play for the team again.
Hendrickson clearly wants to win and compete for a Super Bowl.
With a healthy Joe Burrow back at quarterback, anything is possible for Zac Taylor’s squad.
Having Hendrickson back is icing on the cake for a defense that sorely needs him now more than ever.
