The woes keep coming for the New York Giants.
They played their Week 4 Monday Night Football Game at home without All-Pro running back Saquon Barkley.
They also missed offensive linemen Andrew Thomas and Ben Bredeson.
The Giants avoided a shutout thanks to Graham Gano’s 55-yard field goal.
Adding insult to injury, Daniel Jones lost a fumble and threw a 97-yard interception return for a touchdown to rookie Devon Witherspoon.
Jones also took a beating at the hands of the Giants’ offensive line.
He was sacked 11 times, a fact that Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman commented on.
“I was [once] the recipient of 11 sacks [in a game] from the Philadelphia Eagles, and this (the Giants’ complete inability to protect Daniel Jones against the Seahawks tonight) feels worse,” Aikman said via sports reporter Jonathan Wagner.

The game Aikman referred to happened in Week 3 of the 1991 season.
Clyde Simmons had 4.5 sacks, Jerome Brown had 2.5, and Mike Golic had two.
Reggie White and Mike Pitts had one sack each in that 24-0 Eagles win.
It’s hard to see an NFL team winning after their quarterback gets sacked 11 times.
The Giants are lucky that Jones came out of that game without an injury.
However, the result is humiliating, considering they were playing at home.
