This is great news for the folks down in Miami because he is an ascending star that wants to be there.
Some star players like to stay away from the team and hold out for a new extension.
Tagovailoa is different and with the pieces that they have, the Dolphins could be on the edge of championship contention for years to come.
Over the last two seasons, Tagovailoa has guided the Dolphins to two consecutive playoff appearances.
He has also led the league in passing yards (2023) and passer rating (2022).
With the addition of former three-time Pro-Bowler Odell Beckham Jr. at wide receiver, Miami now has Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Beckham as their top-three wide receivers.
Not to mention the fact that Pro Bowl running back Raheem Mostert and speedster De’Von Achane are a couple of elite playmakers out of the backfield.
With Tagovailoa in the building, he can continue his growth and connections with these players.
Look for the Dolphins to be real contenders in 2024 and beyond mainly because of Tagovailoa’s play.
