Ahead of the 2022 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs made a move that no one saw coming, as the team traded superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins because the two sides couldn’t come to terms on a new long-term contract.
The move turned out to be a game-changer for Hill as well as the Dolphins, while it didn’t impact the Chiefs all that much, with Kansas City going on to win two Super Bowl titles since making the unexpected trade.
Interestingly enough, things could’ve been much different for Hill if it weren’t for the inaction by movie star Adam Sandler, who is a big-time New York Jets fan.
Apparently, Hill told the Jets to tell Sandler to call him and ask him to come to New York to play for the storied NFL franchise, which never ended up happening and resulted in the speedster suiting up for the Dolphins.
Hill dropped this unknown story on the “Punch Line Podcast,” which is bound to make Jets fans incredibly angry, as they could’ve had Hill and Garrett Wilson right now with Aaron Rodgers under center.

Hill also said that Sandler needs to make a football version of “Hustle,” which became an incredibly popular basketball movie on Netflix that starred players like Anthony Edwards and Juancho Hernangómez.
The Dolphins superstar suggests that his former teammate Patrick Mahomes needs to be in the movie, and it needs to be about the life and journey of Baltimore Ravens superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson.
