The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018, finally giving the fans the kind of joy they deserved after so many years.
But last year was brutal for Philadelphia sports, with the Philadelphia 76ers losing in the second round of the playoffs again, and all other major teams falling short when it mattered the most.
The Philadelphia Phillies lost in the World Series, the Eagles lost in the Super Bowl, and the Philadelphia Union lost in the MLS Cup final.
That’s why it’s so nice to see two teams rallying together to try and do better this year, as was shown in a clip of Eagles star Fletcher Cox celebrating with Bryce Harper and the Phillies players after taking down the Atlanta Braves to advance to the NLCS (Via Evan Macy).

Harper was nothing short of spectacular in the NLDS, staring at Braves SS Orlando Arcia after every big hit, and putting his team on his shoulders again in the playoffs.
The Phillies will now square off vs. the Arizona Diamondbacks, who shockingly swept the Los Angeles Dodgers, for a second trip to the World Series in as many seasons.
As for the Eagles, they remain undefeated with an immaculate 5-0 record and sit atop the NFC East.
They have a date with the New York Jets up next, and they look like a strong candidate to make it to the big game at the end of the season again.
The Sixers have a new coach, and the Union made the playoffs again, so maybe all Philly teams will get a chance to redeem themselves this season.
