This should be a very interesting season in New England this year.
The Patriots are currently in a state of transition at the moment.
They have moved on from legendary head coach Bill Belichick and are moving into a new era with Jerod Mayo.
They also drafted a new quarterback with the No. 3 overall pick in Drake Maye.
Along with the quarterback position being an intriguing one to watch, the wide receiver spot will be one of interest too.
Second-year wide receiver DeMario Douglas is going to be a name to watch out wide.
A video has recently surfaced of Douglas running routes and staying ready for the season (via insider Dov Kleiman).

As a rookie in 2023 with suspect quarterback play, Douglas proved that he could be a trustworthy player.
He put up 49 receptions for 561 yards in 14 games.
Keep in mind that he was a sixth-round pick who had to sit behind the likes of veterans such as JuJu Smith-Schuster and Kendrick Bourne,
Seeing Douglas put in the work this offseason should excite Pats fans.
Despite his small frame (5-8, 180 pounds), he has the ability to use his 4.4 speed to either find open holes in the defense or blow past defenders.
Still just 23 years of age, Douglas is still a very raw player but has a real chance to be somebody with the Pats.
Look for him and Maye to form a connection this year that can potentially get better with time.
