The Houston Texans were one of the most surprising teams in the NFL during the 2023 season.
After being one of the NFL’s worst teams in 2022, the Texans turned things around, winning the AFC South for the first time since 2019.
It certainly helps to have the offensive and defensive Rookies of the Year on your team, as C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson both delivered stellar performances for this team.
Now that the Texans know what they have in Stroud, they have started to assemble the best possible team around him, both on offense and defense.
While the Texans have made a few marquee additions throughout the offseason, none have been as star-studded as the team’s recent trade for Stefon Diggs.
Diggs was reportedly frustrated with the way things were going in Buffalo and will now have a chance to help Stroud take that next step forward in his sophomore campaign.
As Diggs has highlighted in a video shared via Dov Kleiman, he is seemingly already locked in for the 2024 season as his training has ramped up.

Joining a new team can be a very exciting time for a player, especially when that team has a lot of potential.
The Texans have one of the best young teams in the league, and if they can continue to figure it out like they did in 2023, they might be a tough out in the AFC side of the playoffs.
Of course, teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals will have something to say about that, but all signs are pointing upward for this emerging Texans roster.
