The 2023 NFL season hasn’t been kind to the New York Giants as they’ve been decimated by injuries to key players like Daniel Jones and Darren Waller.
Aside from Jones and Waller, the Giants also saw Saquon Barkley miss time earlier in the year due to an ankle injury.
However, despite missing so many offensive position players New York has won two consecutive games with their most recent victory coming at the expense of the New England Patriots.
The Patriots are arguably the worst team in the league right now and the Giants have no qualms beating them in an ugly 10-7 contest.
New York has been able to win games starting backup quarterback Tommy DeVito who has been a fun story as of late.
In fact, DeVito’s won over his teammates like Barkley and the star running back was seen cheering on the signal caller via Bleacher Report.

DeVito is shown running onto the field and Barkley cheers him on by raising his fist and turning toward the crowd.
Barkley later calls for the fans to get louder and is then seen hugging DeVito and telling him that he loves him.
At the end of the short clip, Barkley calls DeVito “Tommy Cutlets” which will surely catch on with the Giants fanbase.
DeVito has been an unlikely folk hero for New York fans who were hoping the team would take a leap after their postseason appearance last season.
Although the playoffs are a pipe dream, at least fans can cheer for DeVito as the ideal underdog.
