Heading into the final four games of the 2023 NFL regular season, the Minnesota Vikings will have their hands full, with four tough matchups in consecutive weeks and a playoff spot in the NFC potentially on the line.
Even though the Josh Dobbs hype train has come to a complete stop, resulting in a quarterback change to Nick Mullens, the Vikings are still alive in the playoff chase in the NFC, with a record of 7-6 coming into Week 15 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Along with their playoff hopes being alive and well, Minnesota will get superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson back on the field this week against the Bengals and will also have running back Myles Gaskin and wideout Trishton Jackson active, according to the team’s Twitter account.

With things coming down to the wire in the NFC in terms of teams that can contend for a playoff spot in the final stretch, it’ll be interesting to see if the Vikings have a bit more magic left in the tank in order to make a run at a postseason berth.
At this point, no one is dubbing the Vikings a serious threat in the conference, as Minnesota is not a team many believe can make it to the Super Bowl, but stranger things have happened, with the Bengals being the perfect example of what can happen with their trip to the Super Bowl a few years back.
The Vikings are currently slight underdogs heading on the road to face the Bengals in a game that both teams need to win.
