Only so many great players can make the Pro Football Hall of Fame each year.
This year, legendary Minnesota Vikings and NFL edge-rusher Jared Allen missed out on being voted into Canton.
The former star defender recently joined “Up & Adams” to chat about his feelings about not going to Canton this year:
“Was I upset when I didn’t get the call this year? Absolutely. It’s frustrating…But I say it all the time, I mean, it’s not going to change my life,” Allen stated.

Allen has a great perspective on the matter.
He is not letting it destroy his attitude and life.
Will he get in?
At some point, he should.
With his career numbers and portfolio, he should definitely be getting a bronze bust at some point.
The four-time First-Team All-Pro recorded a whopping 136 career sacks and over 225 career quarterback hits.
He was always in the backfield.
The former Idaho State star recorded 11+ sacks in 8 of his 12 career seasons.
While in Minnesota, he set the franchise record for most sacks in a season with 22 back in 2011.
Allen was as consistent as they come, which is why he made every defense that he was a part of very, very dangerous.
He bounced around from the Chiefs to the Vikings to the Bears to the Panthers in his career.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame should house Allen’s bust soon enough.
That is how good he was.
