It’s a sad day to be an NFL fan.
The Minnesota Vikings and Oregon Ducks’ family have lost one of their young stars.
According to a report by TMZ Sports, Vikings’ rookie CB Khyree Jackson was killed in a car accident near Temple Hills, Maryland.

The report was also confirmed by his mom, and then by James Crepea of The Oregonian.
The Vikings took Jackson in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft after spending one season in Oregon.
He had started his collegiate career at the junior college level with the Fort Scott Greyhounds before joining the Alabama Crimson Tide from 2021-22 and then, eventually, playing for the Ducks.
The 24-year-old logged 34 tackles, three interceptions, and two sacks last season with the Ducks, and he had gotten plenty of positive reviews during offseason workouts and minicamps.
The Vikings reportedly had big plans for him right out of the gate, but none of that will matter now.
This is still an ongoing story and no further details about his passing have been reported just yet.
May he rest in peace.
