The Minnesota Vikings are entering a new era in a couple of different ways.
First off, they selected their quarterback of the future in Michigan national champion J.J. McCarthy at pick No. 10 overall.
He has the opportunity to be the long-term face of the franchise.
The other reason why the team could be entering a new era is the recent release of their new alternate uniforms.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team recently unveiled their all-white Winter Warrior uniforms.

These uniforms look incredible, especially because Minnesota’s predominant colors are purple and gold.
All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who is pictured wearing the alternate jersey, just signed a record-breaking deal with the team.
He is set to earn $140 million over the next four years with $110 million of that guaranteed.
With the addition of McCarthy and the new contract for their best player in Jefferson, this team is hoping to feel different this year.
In a division with the Detroit Lions, an NFC Championship team, the Green Bay Packers, who made the playoffs in the first year without Aaron Rodgers, and the Chicago Bears, who look like an ascending team, the Vikings have their work cut out for them.
But, this is still a solid roster that should keep the team in games.
It will be up to that connection between McCarthy and Jefferson to carry this team into the future.
